I’m HD Lerner, a queer non-binary artist in the Reno-Tahoe area. I first began my journey with art in highschool when I stumbled upon a mosaics class. I worked with mosaics for many years creating abstract portraits and commissioned landscape pieces. Craving more dimension within my pieces I began creating acrylic and oil paintings in 2021. 

Primarily using oil, acrylic and spray paint I create surrealistic pieces for your inner child to explore and wander. Using surrealism I paint pieces that celebrate queerness and explore the relationship and identity between a person and their inner child. 

It’s my deepest hope that my paintings will provide you with a safe space to wander, explore, splash in puddles and step into your truest self.
